Questions

How do I make an invoice for free?

Fill in your business and your client's details, add each item with its quantity and price, choose whether to add VAT, then press Save as PDF. Your browser saves the invoice as a PDF you can e-mail.

Do you keep my invoices or client details?

No. Everything happens in your browser; nothing you type is sent to us. Your own details can be remembered on this device if you tick the box.

What should a tax invoice include?

Usually the words Tax Invoice, your business name, address and VAT number, the client's name and address, an invoice number and date, a description of each item, the amounts without VAT, the VAT and the total. Check the exact rules of your tax authority.

Can I add VAT?

Yes. Choose the VAT rate (for example 15% in South Africa) and it is added to the subtotal. Leave it at 0% if you aren't registered for VAT.
