Let AI agents shop your store
AI assistants are starting to shop for people. An AI storefront gives them a direct way into your shop: a small, read-only server in the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard Claude and other AI apps use to call tools. Agents can search your products, prices and stock, then send the shopper to your product page to buy.
Try the demo store
This is exactly what an AI agent sends and gets back. The demo store is made up; your storefront serves your own products.
Connect it to an AI app yourself: add https://khanyo.app/api/mcp/demo as a custom connector (a remote MCP server) in Claude or any MCP client, then ask it, for example, “find waterproof boots under R1,500 in the Khanyo demo store”.
What should AI agents be able to do in your shop?
Your own storefront
- Included with the Google Shopping feed ($19 a month up to 500 products). Your storefront address is on your feed’s manage page and serves the same products the feed does, refreshed every day from your product pages.
- Read-only and honest. Two tools, search and product details. Values come only from your own product data; the agent is told to confirm price and stock on your page. Nothing is bought through it.
- No AI on our side. The agent that connects brings its own AI; the storefront is plain code, so there’s no AI cost and nothing to go wrong in the answer.

Which AI apps let shoppers use a shop’s MCP server, and where, is still changing: today you or an agent builder connects it by hand. We don’t promise any app will list your shop.
Questions
What is an MCP server for a shop?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants such as Claude use to call tools. A shop's MCP server lets an AI agent search the shop's products, prices and stock directly, instead of reading web pages.
How do I connect the demo store to Claude?
Add https://khanyo.app/api/mcp/demo as a custom connector (a remote MCP server) in Claude or any MCP client, then ask it to find something in the Khanyo demo store.
Where do the products come from?
From your own product pages, the same data as your Google Shopping feed, refreshed every day. Nothing is invented; products missing required data are left out.
Can agents buy through it?
No. It's read-only: search and product details. The agent sends the shopper to your product page to buy.
What does it cost?
It's included with the Google Shopping feed plan. The demo store is open to everyone.
