Bank statement PDF to spreadsheet
Choose a bank statement PDF and get it back as Excel, Xero and Sage/QuickBooks files. We check every row against the statement’s own running balance first, and you only pay ($5 per statement) for a statement that adds up.

How it works
- Check, free: we read the PDF and check that opening balance + every transaction = closing balance, row by row.
- Pay $5 per statement through Paddle, only if it adds up. You see the first transactions before you pay.
- Download three files: Excel/Google Sheets (debit, credit, balance), Xero’s import format, and the 3-column format Sage, QuickBooks and most others import. Up to 10 downloads within 30 days.
Your statement stays private
- The PDF is read in memory and never stored, not even after you pay: you choose the same file again to download, and we compare a fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash) to make sure it’s the statement you paid for.
- We keep only that fingerprint, the number of pages and transactions, the bank’s name and the payment.
- A password you enter is used only to open the file and is never kept.
- No AI reads your statement: plain rules do the work.
Which statements work
Statements downloaded from your bank’s app or website as PDF (with selectable text), with a running balance column. Built and tested on the layouts South African banks use (FNB, ABSA, Standard Bank, Nedbank, Capitec and others); most banks elsewhere use the same columns. Scans and photos of paper statements can’t be read. If yours doesn’t check out, you pay nothing; tell us your bank and we’ll look at it.

Questions
How do I convert a bank statement PDF to Excel?
Choose the PDF your bank's app or website gave you. We read it, check every row against the running balance, show you the first transactions, and after a $5 payment you download Excel, Xero and Sage/QuickBooks CSV files.
Which banks work?
Statements with selectable text and a running balance column. Built on the layouts South African banks use (FNB, ABSA, Standard Bank, Nedbank, Capitec and others); most banks elsewhere use the same columns.
Is my bank statement stored?
No. The PDF is read in memory and never saved. We keep only a fingerprint of the file, the page and transaction counts, the bank's name and the payment.
What if the statement doesn't add up?
Then we don't sell a conversion and you pay nothing. Only statements whose opening balance plus every transaction equals the closing balance can be bought.
Can it read a scanned or photographed statement?
No. It reads the text inside PDFs downloaded from your bank, not pictures of paper statements.
