CV checker

Choose your CV (PDF) or paste its text, and see what to fix before you send it: length, contact details, the sections recruiters look for, newest job first, bullet points, results in numbers, and personal details you can leave out. Free, and never stored.

What should the CV checker do next?

We keep your answer to decide what to build. Your e-mail only if you tick the box, and only to reply.

What we check

Plain rules that CV guides and recruiters agree on; no AI reads your CV, and it isn’t kept. Every employer is different, so treat this as a checklist, not a promise of an interview.

Questions

How long should a CV be?

Usually one to two pages, about 400 to 900 words. Recruiters skim, so cut older or less relevant roles first.

What should a CV include?

Your name and contact details at the top, a short profile, work experience with your newest job first, education and skills. Under each job, a few bullet points that show what you did and, where you can, the results in numbers.

Should I put my ID number or date of birth on my CV?

No. Employers don't need them to judge your work, and leaving them out protects your privacy and avoids bias. Give them later if an employer asks for them for a contract.

Is my CV stored?

No. It is read in memory to check it and then thrown away. Only a daily count of checks is kept.

How does the checker work?

Plain rules, the same ones CV guides and recruiters agree on. No AI reads your CV.
